"The Glen Road to Carrick", in Gaelic "Bóthair an Ghleanna go dtí an Charraig",
also known as "Chorus Reel", "On the Road" or "On the Road from Glen to Carrick"
is an Irish reel in D Mixolydian/Major or G Major. The parts are played AA'BCDE
(Armagh Pipers), ABCCDE (Breathnach) or ABB'CDEE' (Feldman & O'Doherty).
It is a popular reel in County Donegal.
Paddy Cronin recorded the tune on a 78 RPM under the title "Doon Reel No. 2".
It was printed in Vallely's Armagh Piper's Club's Play 50 Reels (1982),
Breathnach's CRÉ III (1985),
Bulmer & Sharpley's Music from Ireland, vol. 3 (1974) and
Feldman & O'Doherty's The Northern Fiddler (1979) (appears as "On the Road").
